Brief Water Outages Along West Smith, Aldrich & Waschke Roads

Beginning today (Oct. 24, 2016) and lasting for a couple of days, Deer Creek will be replacing water meters along these roads. The new meters are part of a pilot program to install Radio Read Meters in a portion of our service area to determine installation costs. The water will be turned off for a few minutes while the old meter is removed and the new meter is installed. Thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience this outage causes.

Annual Meeting - Tuesday, October 18, 2016 - 6:30 p.m.

Deer Creek held its Annual Meeting and had 25 attendees in the audience. Our thanks to these shareholders for voting on Directors and amending Bylaws. We are grateful for their commitment to our organization and thankful for everybody who attended or voted via proxy.

We reached a quorum and were able to re-elect Director Leroy Rohde for another three-year term. Also, Director Darla Norman was elected to a three-year term. Last, we voted on the amendment to our 1998 bylaws and this passed with a large majority of votes.
